 September 29th Practice
We had a great practice today. All the kids were there for the first time since the hurricane. They all have been doing so well, improving on all the drills that we have, and picking up the new ones with no problems. They are so good at taking directions and standing in line to wait for thier turns. You can see that in the picture here.

We had a new game we played today. We set up four sets of cones as gates, and then had the kids dribble the ball up the course and through the gates. They all did wonderful, showing great concentration and control. All of them did it correctly the first try. I timed them also on the course, and they all were within a few seconds of each other completing the course.
This game we played was to show the kids how to correctly throw a ball inbounds during a soccer game. They all had great form, keeping both feet on the ground, and throwing the ball over thier heads while keeping both hands on the ball. Of course it helped that they got to throw the ball at coach during this drill. They all had a great time, and again followed directions and watched as they waited for thier turns.

We played "Coach Says" again this practice. The kids have really improved on balancing on one leg, knowing the difference from thier left and right and following directions in general. As a matter of fact, when coach Evan came in a little late from the parking lot, they wanted to teach him how to do jumping jacks. They have so much fun and the energy to go along with it, you cannot help but to have fun.
Here is the first team picture of the Cheet-O-Diles (it was a tie for team name between the Cheetahs and Crocodiles). They are a great bunch of kids. All of them have great manners, do thier best at everything they do and listen very well to directions. All the parents, including myself, should be very proud of this group of great young children.
